Review of Lumino City

Adventure quest style games have always attracted the attention of players and at the moment there are a lot of interesting offers that deserve attention. For example, it is worth considering Lumino City, which appeared back in 2015. The main feature of the development is that any decoration is designed by the authors manually from cardboard and paper, threads and plastic. Even at the moment it is very difficult to find a similar project.

The main characters are familiar characters, namely Lumi and her grandfather. As for the storyline, everything is extremely simple and clear. The heroine again came to a relative, and now he was at home. He wants to tell his granddaughter something really important and interesting, but to begin with, grandfather asked for tea. And as soon as the heroine moved away, a knock was heard, and her relative simply disappeared. But what happened to him?

Game design

Since all the scenery was made by hand, everything looks natural and interesting. Everything looks nice and every single scene is a real masterpiece, where you can feel, one might say, the presence of the author. Moreover, the work on the creation continued for 3 years.

Of course, the mistakes of previous years were also taken into account, so everything was brought to mind in this version. Thanks to the competent use of the camera, we managed to achieve smooth transitions with high-quality animation. Separate scenes are completely multidimensional, and the developer constantly filmed everything that happens from different angles. In general, there can be no questions about the graphic design.

Game process

If we talk about management, then everything here corresponds to the genre of the game and is performed using the mouse. That is, the interface is minimalist, and in the inventory of the heroine there is only a small set of tools, and along the way, you need to look for everything yourself.

The puzzles of the game fit perfectly into the style, initially the user gets acquainted with all the features of the game, and the simplest tasks need to be solved. But as time goes by, things get more complicated and more interesting. An additional plus is that some of the puzzles will be interesting for those players who have a technical mindset. But there is nothing impossible, everyone is able to pass the next level. But without a clue to move forward in the story is simply impossible. In general, the gameplay takes about 5 hours, where the player has to solve 34 riddles of different difficulty levels.
